Portraits | California Cowboys
At my core I'm a portrait photographer, but I find that overlaps just about everything I shoot these days. Santa Barbara County and its North County regions are steeped in a time honored tradition and lifestyle of the Vaquero and cowboy culture. These images represent a ten year project I undertook, portraying the life of the working cowboy on some of the last remaining cattle ranches on California's Central Coast.
