Western Wear | Stars and Stripes
Fashion has been the mainstay of my business since the mid eighties and continues to be to this day. These images were shot for Stars & Stripes Western Wear, located in Reutlingen, Germany. They had seen the documentary I shot on California cattle ranching, and wanted to know if I'd be interested in shooting their next western fashion catalog. Having long time relationships with ranchers on Californias' Central Coast, provided me with unlimited options when it came to choosing locations and wranglers. Models were secured from Los Angeles and my first assistant, who speaks fluent German, helped translate when communication became difficult.
